Learn works on your device
Learn tracks your hands and checks your attempt against a saved sign on your device. It does not upload your camera video. Your progress and recordings made with the author tools stay in this browser. They do not sync with your account.
To remove this progress and these recordings, clear this site's data in your browser. Save anything you want to keep first.
Communicate uses online services
If you make an account, Communicate stores your name, email and a protected form of your password in MongoDB. That protected form is called a hash. A session cookie keeps you signed in.
Communicate sends speech recordings to the speech service set up for the app. That service turns speech into text. When you are signed in, saved conversations may include that text, guesses about emotion and matching sign sequences. Sign animations load from Cloudinary.
If you agree to share a voice recording, it is stored in Cloudinary. MongoDB stores the speaker code, sentence, emotion label and the time you agreed to share it. It also stores any age group or gender details you provide.
Recognize sends camera images
When you start Recognize, it sends camera images to the Recognize server to process them. Learn processes them on your own device instead.
Alerts needs phone permissions
The phone app uses your microphone for sound alerts. It uses your phone's speech service for captions. How speech is processed may depend on that service and its offline setting. SOS can share your location with the contacts you choose.
The assistant may use Gemini
If the online assistant is on, Suvana sends your question, recent chat messages and details about the page through its server to Google Gemini. Keep passwords and private details out of your questions.
Sign files and hosting
Learn shows signs using files of hand points, called landmarks. This version does not show video from the sign datasets. If that video is approved later, we must explain here how it is delivered and how privacy is handled before using it.
The companies that host the demo and its files receive the requests needed to load pages and files. Their own privacy terms apply to those requests.
Ask about your data
For a question or request about your account data or a voice recording you shared, email kavindu.rakn@gmail.com. Send only the details needed to find your record. Please do not send a password.
