Suvana is a research project for communicating and learning with Sri Lankan Sign Language. This demo is for academic, non-commercial use. It has no paid products or services.
Use it for practice
A Learn score shows how closely your attempt matches one saved sign. It does not prove that the sign is right or that someone understands it. Recognized signs, captions, guesses about emotion and assistant answers can be wrong.
Use a qualified interpreter when you need clear communication. Do not rely on this demo for emergency, medical or legal decisions. Phone alerts and SOS depend on permissions, your device and the services available.
Respect people and their work
Only record or share another person's voice or images if they give permission. Only upload things you have the right to share. Do not upload secrets.
Kaggle landmark files are marked CC0. Yohan landmark files use CC BY-NC-SA 4.0: use them only for non-commercial work, give credit and follow the share-alike rules. These licences do not give rights to dataset videos or to a person's likeness (how they look). No dataset video has been cleared for this demo.
The business idea does not change these content licences. See the roadmap for the current limits.
Your account and device
Keep your password private. Learn progress stays in the browser you use. You may lose it if you clear that browser's data. A feature may not work while its service is offline.
